Ruffland Kennels

They don't make crates the way they used to. We use our crates to keep our dogs safe in the car and a cheap crate from the store is just not gonna cut it in a wreck. We have been using these crates for years and I appreciate the options they have available. We favor Ruffland Kennels as a mid-line, high-quality crate. For male Brittanys, we recommend an Intermediate crate and for females, we generally recommend a Medium size.

Garmin Astro + T5

We choose the Garmin Astro + T5. This is a GPS tracking collar and training collar in one. Sometimes Brittanys can get carried away, we all know it, we fear it a bit, we appreciate their drive. What we DO NOT appreciate is not knowing where our Brittany IS!! It is a horrid, sinking feeling when you watch your Brittany run off into the wind and over a rise. The training collar will help you modify this behavior for one and the tracker will help you have "eyes" on your Britt while letting them enjoy a varied terrain. I cannot tell you how much money you will spend to try to find your lost Brittany. You don't know it now, but your will. THIS IS THE CHEAPER OPTION by a multitude. We recently went through a lost dog situation and about $5000 was spent in the failed recovery of this wonderful dog. An ecollar, a tracker, itt would have saved her life. DO THIS!!

So our lovely breed has this awesome instinct to "quarter" when walking, running, playing. When you want your Brittany to walk nicely beside you, they usually have "other" plans LOL. They will PULL and zigzag in front of you. Sometimes this may be ok, sometimes it's horribly obnoxious. Don't think we're torturous people over here, but sometimes we need a little help at getting our Britt to maintain a preferred heel position. This helps! The brand we have linked here is lovely and keeps our ability to control our Britt our little secret!
